    Google script drive?

It was brought to my attention recently that whoever compiled that folder included personal scripts some of us users posted here on SD, such as a sample I posted of my script House of Vile Spirits. Read into that what you will, but it paints a dubious picture to me.

Movie Friday The 13th: The Beginning

"Good" being the hitch. There are enough bad movies out there; we don't need another one just to fit a long-desired fan quota.

    Movie Dragged Across Concrete

When I saw this thread title I thought, "Interesting, someone's making a movie about Tommy Lee Jones' face."

Movie Friday The 13th: The Beginning

At this point, they're just beating this dead horse deader. There's nowhere for the F13 series to go. The original series crapped out, the attempted '09 reboot face-planted... How much more ruination can this series take? Particularly considering that it wasn't exactly top-of-the-line horror...

    Forumotion.

I'm on WTR and recommend it as well. If any of you make your way over there (or if you're already there) my WTR user name is LT2. Not that I'm encouraging anyone to jump the SD ship here. The joint ain't shut down yet, so I'll be continuing to post and share here until it is. :)

    Movie REQ: Halloween 2 (2009)

I agree, The Shape is scarier without a reason (Carpenter's Halloween is in fact one of my top two favorite horror films, right behind the original Dawn of the Dead). But I did like the first half of Zombie's remake and thought it was ridiculously effective. I can take or leave the second...

    Movie REQ: Halloween 2 (2009)

My thoughts exactly. I really liked the first half of Zombie's first Halloween flick, the stuff with young Michael and Dr. Loomis, and I thought Sheri Moon Zombie was surprisingly believable (and much less annoying than her previous films). I would have actually preferred more young Michael...

About the color codes for drafts and revisions

I've never used any of those others, only Final Draft (until I dropped it for Trelby). But as I said, the director who signed on for my script insisted I use the asterisk feature for every single new/revised line during the (mind-numbingly frustrating because he couldn't tell his fourth point...

    Movie REQ: Halloween 2 (2009)

I tend to think that somewhere up in heaven there exists a Screenwriting God, and in His benevolent wisdom, He chose to spare us, the screenplay collecting masses, the cancerous horror of what must surely be one of the worst film screenplays ever written. I mean I dig Rob Zombie for the most...

About the color codes for drafts and revisions

Another way to tell you're looking at a revised draft is if there are asterisks along the right margin -- which also indicates that the script was revised using Final Draft. FD uses asterisks to indicate revised and/or new lines added to a draft. I actually found this out the hard way, with my...

    Forumotion.

Braveheart was drawn, quartered, gutted, de-cockified, beheaded and diced into kindling. General Zod was imprisoned for eternity in an intergalactic mirror with a smokin' hot bad-ass dominatrix. One guess as to which one I'd prefer to emulate. :D

As we wait to see how some of these other proposed options turn out, I extend to all of you an invitation to exhange email addresses with me for future sharing/trading, or if you just feel like shooting the shit. Of course this invitation does not include those of you I've told to take a flying...

    Best tail scene

"Remember, Sully, when I promised to kill you last?" "That's right, Matrix! You did!" "I lied." Such a fun flick, like a splattery comic book come to life.

    Good-Bye!

Nothing but respect for you and all the work you put into the joint, Max. Lots of folks have made lots of connections, traded and shared lots of stuff, and become part of a generous community thanks to you. Anybody gives you guff for closing up shop, you send 'em my way and I'll thump 'em up...

    Best tail scene

I have no idea how it was written in the script, but I love this scene from The Defenders, which features Matt Murdock tailing Jessica Jones, only to suddenly realize she's turned the table and is now tailing him. The execution is flawless, IMO.

    Pooling money to buy scripts.

Okay, that makes more sense. I had assumed a private collector bought it.

    Pooling money to buy scripts.

You? Not at all. The guy who bought the listing? Yup. But it could just be that I'm an admittedly cheap bastard and can't imagine paying that much money for a new suit, let alone the script for a cruddy slasher flick.
