Did this for 2016 and 2017, and so figure I’d do it again this year. Had this sitting in my notes file for a minute but kept forgetting to post.

*Title (Year From Blacklist)*
Adrift (2016)
Hotel Artemis (2016)
I Think We’re Alone Now (2016)
Life Itself (2016)
Chappaquiddick (2015)
Set It Up (2015)*
White Boy Rick (2015)
Operation Finale [as Eichman] (2015)
Bird Box (2014)*
On The Basis of Sex (2014)
Tau (2014)*
Patient Zero (2015)
Extinction (2013)*
Dude (2013)*
Hot Summer Nights (2013)
Blockers [as Cherries] (2012)
Flower (2012)
How It Ends (2010)*
Dear Dictator [as Coup d’Etat] (2006)

*Released on Netflix

Also some “maybes”:
City of Lies [as LAbryinth] (2015) - pulled from release schedule
Standoff at Sparrow Creek [as Militia] - screened at Fantastic Fest, no release date
The Burning Woman (2015) - screening at TIFF, no release date
The Current War (2011) - pulled from Weinstein release schedule last year

Pretty sure the only one we don’t have on the drive is Coup D’Etat/Dear Dictator

I like watching the oscar race, and I noticed that there are almost no serious contenders for Best Picture that are blacklist scripts this year. On The Basis of Sex would be the obvious one, and although it is obviously timely, the film looks utterly blah. Shame Marille Heller and Natalie Portman didn't stay on. Beyond that, there's very outside chances for Bird Box. If neither are nominated, it will be the first time in the history of the blacklist that its films have failed to get nominations.

By Oscar Year (with blacklist year in parentheses)

2006: Little Miss Sunshine (2005), The Queen (2005) [2/5 nominees]
2007: Juno (2006), Michael Clayton (2006), There Will Be Blood (2006) [3/5 nominees] - Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2006) also gets Original Screenplay nom
2008: Slumdog Millionaire (2007), Frost/Nixon (2006) [2/5 nominees, including winner] - In Bruges (2006) also gets Original Screenplay nom, and Doubt (2007) gets Best Adapted nom
2009: Up In The Air (2008), Inglorious Basterds (2008) [2/10 nominees] - The Messenger (2006) also gets Original Screenplay nom
2010: The Fighter (2006), The King's Speech (2009), The Social Network (2009) [3/10 nominees, including winner]
2011: The Descendants (2008) [1/9 nominees, but it wins best adapted screenplay]
2012: Life of Pi (2006), Argo Fack Yourself (2010) [2/9, including loser] - no nom for Life of Pi in Screenwriting
2013: Wolf of Wall Street (2007), American Hustle (2010) [2/9]
2014: Selma (2007), The Imitation Game (2011), Whiplash (2012), American Sniper (2013) [4/8] - Foxcatcher (2008) also gets Original Screenplay nom, no nom for Selma in Screenwrting
2015: The Revenant (2007), Spotlight (2013) [2/8] - no nom for Revenant in screenwriting
2016: Arrival (2012), Hell of High Water (2012), Manchester by the Sea (2014) [3/10]
2017: The Post (2016) [1/10 - and no screenplay nom]
