Does anyone know if Fox has cooled off on WIDOWS and EL ROYALE?
Screeners were sent out for Widows, so they appear to still have some hope for it, though getting shut out of the GGs completely is definitely not a good sign. To my knowledge, no screeners have been sent out for El Royale, so they may be managing their expectations there.

Eighth Grade by Bo Burnham - An introverted teenage girl tries to survive the last week of her disastrous eighth grade year before leaving to start high school.

First Reformed by Paul Schrader - A minister of a small congregation in upstate New York grapples with mounting despair brought on by tragedy, worldly concerns and a tormented past.
Much appreciated. On A24's page, of the 4 FYC films, only two have screenplays. Odd, no?

Not odd for them. Lately they’ve only been putting up the ones that they think actually have a chance.
Ah gotcha, i figured as such but when seeing they wanted them to be considered for Best Screenplay it seemed a little counter-intuitive. Then again, this is coming from someone who just wants to read the scripts, lol.

Hence the "hasn't been released officially" part. FSL sent out script books of The Favourite, Can You Ever Forgive Me?, and Isle of Dogs (which was actually just the published version), but for some reason they haven't put up PDFs as of yet. Given that The Favourite is one of the frontrunners for Original Screenplay (neck-and-neck with First Reformed), you'd think they'd have put it up weeks ago.
