Does it have that weird training montage set to music?
I checked based on where it is in the film (after Brian takes a drunk Stephen back to the boat) and there is no montage there. I suppose it could be somewhere else in the draft and just got moved later on, but I'm not THAT curious lol

I think the reason Max doesn't want to ask people to pay more, is because the site lost so many people who contributed scripts when it first became a pay site. It used to be a monthly $3 fee and everyone left, then Max changed it to a one-time fee, and by then, it was too late.

By the way, does anyone have Backdraft? I thought I did.
Well, those people can suck it. Max is groovy af.

The main advantage of continuing this forum is the content/community that already exists. The disadvantages are that it costs money to maintain, requires coding support to adjust things, and is open to the public, increasing risk.

If someone wanted to start anew but wanted this kind of forum experience, there are other forum platforms that are free, and require little or no coding experience to manage. Other communities which trade/share similar things usually make the forum private (like the old VIP room) and have members post links to outside file storage like mediafire and mega. This makes the data footprint light and avoids a single point of failure.

I'm not necessarily advocating this course of action; just pointing out that there are alternate solutions.

I agree - This site already exists. A community is already here. And a bunch of us are saying we're willing to pay to keep it going (the $25 annual fee already proposed sounds reasonable to me), and for access to the private VIP section. And from what I've seen during my time here there are quite a number of well-known and very prolific posters who could be approached to co-manage and moderate the site, without an undue burden falling upon any one person.

I agree. Also, $25 annual fee sounds reasonable to me too.

I'm on WTR and recommend it as well. If any of you make your way over there (or if you're already there) my WTR user name is LT2. Not that I'm encouraging anyone to jump the SD ship here. The joint ain't shut down yet, so I'll be continuing to post and share here until it is. :)
