Criminally underrated actress. Still the best Lois Lane to date, IMO, but my favorite of her performances was as brassy sorority girl Barb in Bob Clark's original Black Christmas. I was glad to hear she got her issues under control several years back and managed to spend the rest of her career keeping busy with roles in various TV shows and indie flicks.

RIP, Margot.

Ask me, they did her a favor. Superman 3 was...well, it wasn't good. Although, devil his due, I did enjoy the Clark vs Evil Superman junkyard brawl.

Can't say the guy didn't lead a hell of a life. At various points over the course of his life and career he was one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood, a successful director, an international sex symbol, and the poster boy for masculinity in the '70s and early '80s. My favorite of his films is Sharky's Machine (which he also directed), and my favorite performance was Jack Horner in Boogie Nights. Unfortunately, he'll probably be most widely remembered for Smokey and the Bandit -- IMO, one of his lesser films. Better to be remembered for that than not be remembered at all I guess, but he did so many better things...

RIP, Burt.

Sad day for all who grew up watching and loving Burt's films. Deliverance. Gator. SATB. The End. Hooper. The Cannonball Run. Sharkey's Machine. Stick. Boogie Nights.

I grew up watching so many of his movies and till this day i still love a lot of those. It's always difficult to watch some movie with the actor or actress you like and know that there are no longer with us, but when one of your favorites of all times dies, it's even worse. R.I.P Burt.
