Here's the David Kajganich drafts of The Stand. They're reasonably well written, but I'm not a fan of the changes to the story. I blame WB more than Kajganich, though, since they read like dumb studio notes.

Also, does anybody have Kajganich's Pet Sematary script?
Thanks.

Here's my reposts of Creepshow scripts. Thankfully my post of the DVD-ROM copy of the 7/8/1986 polish of Creepshow 2 survived.

Creepshow
Original Screenplay by Stephen King
First Draft; 1979

Creepshow 2
Screenplay by George A. Romero

Funny thing about the CARRIE remake is that the guild found that it was such a cut-and-paste replica of the De Palma film that that film's writer actually got credit on the remake, even though he didn't technically write a word of it.

I wonder if that happened with Van Sant's Psycho remake, as well, even though I didn't find his to be an exact shot for shot remake, as he said it was. There were definitely a few shots that weren't in the original, like some glass breaking at the end, when the lady finds out he's the killer, etc.

It did since they used the same script. They didn't actually do an official rewrite.

why not Based on a Screenplay by Lawrence D. Cohen. The same thing to Total Recall, just Stupid that it credits Kurt Wimmer and the other writers from the 1990 movie.

Actually, Stefano was paid a very handsome sum to do a rewrite of his own script for the remake, which amounted to updating a few very minor things. I had to laugh at the Walkman reference.
