^^^ Same. I don't tend to get excited for much stuff these days (short of Netflix Marvel stuff) but being a die hard Dario Argento fan, I'm psyched for this. Judging from the trailer it appears they've done what a remake is supposed to do -- approach the subject matter from a new, interesting perspective.

I'm meh on this, but there's a ton of things I'm excited for this year: Bad Times, Widows, The Hate You Give, Mid90s, Overlord. Back to the topic at hand, I'll end up seeing Suspiria, the only other film I saw by this director was Call Me By Your Name and I was meh on that too.

The one time I saw the original Suspiria, I was not impressed, so I'm not particularly excited for a remake. However, I suppose it could turn out to be pretty good, or at the very least it could be very stylish and visually impressive.

The new Suspiria looks like an evocative and stylish reinvention. The tone is creepy as heck. Fingers crossed for a memorably nightmarish end result.

Doesn't really seem like a mystery. She was identified on the set last year in the makeup, and the character even sounds like a woman in the trailer. The two characters are only in the same proximity twice in the story, but not really near each other, so it would have been easy to pull off.

Yup. The press always hypes it up.

I find it intriguing, if Tilda is in fact playing two different characters with NO biological connection to each other.
