It was not posted. It was one of those useless "single word" supposed gag scripts that wasted space and gave a false attachment indicator. I have not seen this anywhere thus far. Von Trier scripts usually materialize on the random years past release. Sometimes public like Anti-Christ - and sometimes not so public like all 262 pages of Nymphomaniac. It is a crap shoot either way. Good luck.

Any ideas where to find the 262 pages Nymphomaniac script. Thanks!

I am pretty sure it was pulled off an industry drive so there is no actual source I can give you. The listing in the source forum is currently HD24 PENDING. That basically means we have not yet cataloged and listed the entire contents of the drive. Here is what your looking for along with the first few pages if only to prove this thing actually had a script. Which is mildly shocking to me considering the whole thing felt like experimental garbage tossed together on the fly. To each his own ---- Nymphomaniac (2014) (Von Trier) [2012-05] [Unspec.] [262p] [Scan] - Vol. 01 & 02

I want this too. I've seen the movie in October. It has some great scenes - man, Matt Dillon would've made the perfect Ted Bundy - but in the end it becomes plain snobbish Eurotrash, with the whole Divine Comedy inferno crap shoehorned into it... Von Trier even goes so far as forcibly trying to establisch a connection with his previous films through a quick montage - as if he has the ambition the start his own MCU.

This actually piques my interest far more than if it were a straightforward slasher flick or a mundane exploration of murderers like the highly overrated Mindhunters series.

No! It totally is not, a slasher flick I mean. Although, Matt Dillon's character does some outrageous things. Like there is a hunting scene. In it he invited a woman, a divorcee I guess, with her two kids for a hunting trip and a picknick. As they get ready to start their picknick, he, the Dillon character walks away, climbs into a watch tower and well... he has a hunting rifle. It doesn't end well.

The film is stunning. But it only makes sense half the time. Also, there is sort of a project that the character of Dillon is working that he doesn't get to see through in end. Which is very unfulfilling.

I don't know if and when or if it maybe already had a wide release, but it contains a lot of controversial shit. Like the Dillon character is very female unfriendly, and again it contains seriously outrageous shit, and I am not talking about 'O, Heriditary is the new Excorsist type nonsense', no seriously outrageous shit. Like, a raw depiction of a kid getting kneecapped, that kind of stuff. Or the head trauma that the Uma Thurman character takes, or the abuse the girlfriend takes.

Personally, I dug Suspiria far more. Although, I didn't care for the ending. But it is a hauntingly beautiful movie, with awesome performances, and the dancing scene are very titillating - I need to get around to seeing the original, though. Suspiria is also tonaly more consitent, until the end though. On and the narrator arc kind of gets in the way of things. But still, one to see at least once in your life.

So in short. I really would like to read the screenplay. Just to see how Von Trier structured everything on paper.
