David ******* Fincher himself(!!) is in negotiations to direct it. Is there any draft of it in industry lists?

First drafts actually. The last one was written by Dennis Kelly.
Who the f**k is Dennis Kelly and why would he replace one of the most prolific and respected writers in the industry, Steven Goddamn Knight?

Knight just got f**king done writing Brad Pitt a Zemeckis-directed vehicle and they just tossed him to the curb?

Whatever. Not that I'm all that interested in seeing a follow-up to the nightmarishly bland clusterfuck that was World War Z Z Z z

Unless, of course, it were to be directed by Fincher.

WHICH I SINCERELY

F***ING DOUBT!

Graham Moore who won the Oscar for Best adapted a year ago, got rewritten on The Devil in White City, got replaced after he won the Oscar too.

I honestly do not expect it to leave the watermarked swap lists at this point as all the biggest titles have been showing up that way as of late. Less a few surprises like this seconds old bit of nonsense which is hardly a tentpole. Just to give you an idea of what is and is not going out watermark free:

Wow, what does Randall Wallace do here?(I mean, Braveheart author writes a campy fighting movie, really?!) Did you read it? Or it just circles in some industry lists?

I have not read it yet and the draft is not old enough to have hit industry lists yet. It was a inbox surprise given that I have not seen a single previous draft that might of went out. Along with wherever the heck this materialized from:

Cool. I'm still trying to get that Venom Carnage draft from my old source from WTR times. Hope it'll happen anytime soon to have some big toys to trade.

Really? I find it hard to believe David Fincher would direct a sequel to someone else's movie. Alien 3 was when he was first starting as a feature film director, but I can't see him doing that now. He's too big.

You know captain you could always post the script in the VIP thread....
I may also be able to survive going off Niagra Falls in a wheelbarrel as well but I am not stupid enough to do that either. I think this Vertical sarcasm situation does bring up a issue that I need to address in a democratic manner. Would forum members overall prefer I never mention what may and not be out there and stop posting the cover and occasional pages? I have no problem whatsoever posting about and answering zero related questions about what really exists and where it. Ours be if that is what a majority of the forum prefers. I have been playing the information is key card thus far but have been seriously questioning if that potentially causes problems than it helps. Let us say the next 7 related opinion posts to this thread will be the final word. At your leisure fellow forum members.
